This is where our "Ready to Drink" (RTD) products play a key role, as they can be taken and enjoyed anywhere and anytime.
We are a family business that wants to improve the selection of alcoholic beverages in Iceland. Some of our products are available in Vínbúðinn, others are available by special order from Vínbúðinn and some are not available in Vínbúðinn at all.
"Ready to Drink":
Our RTD products are Funkin cocktails, which are ready-made cocktails in a can. You follow the instructions on the can - "chill, rotate, then crack open to infuse with nitrogen" or in our Icelandic - chill, rotate, open, drink and enjoy straight from the can. Today there are four flavors of Funkin cocktails for sale at Vínbúðinn and hopefully more will be added shortly. The Wixo wine glass is another genius that is here to stay - you take off the lid, the film and drink - you don't need a glass because the wine comes in a glass. If you don't finish the drink, it's a simple matter – put the lid back on! Perfect for the golf course, camping, hiking, hunting, outdoor festivals, or just cozying up at home - or just anywhere and anytime. This summer we offer Chardonnay white wine and Sangiovese red wine in Wixo wine glasses, directly from the Terre Cevico wine producer in Italy. Last but not least, we offer 24 Ice , the alcoholic frozen sticks that have been a hit. They are put in the freezer and 24 hours later they are pure sweets, incredibly fresh and 5% alcohol. Can't go wrong!
Unique alcohol:
In addition to our RTD products, Modular also sells premium spirits from Canada. It is about the high-quality skull vodka Crystal Head , which are known around the world as unique quality alcohol in bottles that are works of art - the skull designed by the actor Dan Acroyd and the artist Jason Alexander, who are the founders and owners of Crystal Head Vodka. CHV comes in different versions – clear 700 ml, black (onyx) 700 ml. and then the pride bottle 700 ml., but that bottle comes in a limited edition and changes its appearance every two years. There is a new bottle coming this year. Then we also have a 1.75 liter clear bottle which is crazy. Crystal Head Vodka, available by special order at Vínbúðinn, is vodka in a special class and the bottles are such a decoration in themselves!
Last but not least, the Signal Hill whiskey we just started selling has been awarded for its quality and is available by special order at Vínbúðinn. Like Crystal Head, Signal Hill is Canadian made and made from the best available products, and the results are exceptional!
